Orange Rockerverb II

I love Orange amps. Not only do they sound great, look cool, and are extremely versatile, they single-handedly reinvigorated the lunchbox amp market. I doubt there would be the boutique amps we see today without Orange.

And here is their latest creation. The RockerVerb II. An update to the ever popular RockerVerb, featuring an improved reverb, all new FX loop circuitry, and front mounted controls. But perhaps the biggest news is the announcement of a new 50 watt combo.

And they look awesome.

Press Release – February 2010

Orange Launch Rockerverb II

The Rockerverb series has long been regarded as a masterpiece of guitar amplification and Orange amps are proud to announce the launch of the new Rockerverb II, which builds on the classic proven Rockerverb formula and improves the specification and range available.

Over the years Orange has listened carefully to feedback from their endorsers and players around the world and they are now ready to launch the next generation of world class guitar amps.

The New Rockerverb II series includes the following new specifications and changes:

All models and built using tried and tested top quality components and deliver the legendary orange sound. NAMM 2010 Egnater Amp Videos

I'll admit it. I was one of the guys who thought Egnater never did metal amps. Oh how I was wrong. The Armageddon sounds AMAZING! This amp / cabinet has a few special features. The head features a foot switchable mid range scoop/boost, and there is a very clever "mic eliminator" on the cabinet that has some great potential both live and in the studio.

Mind you, I still love The Tweaker. Such a fitting name for a guitar with so many options even I get a headache! But for all the right reasons.

Thanks to Jon at GuitarNoize for finding these.

Randall NBKing 112 30watt Combo

I know I've mentioned before how I grew up not just wanting to play like Nuno Bettencourt, but to BE Nuno Bettencourt. With the flowing hair, chiselled jaw, amazing guitar skills, adoration of the ladies... anyway. Well that was until he went off and married MY Suzi DiMarci.

Wait, where was I?

O that's right. Randall have just released the new NBKing 112, a 30 watt combo 3 channel amp with some awesome retro looks and a the same oversized volume control and VU meter found on it's big brother.

Plus the best looking logo on an amp I have seen in a long time.

Damn you Nuno! Must you have it all?
