TTK Mic Shoot Out

I don't know where this guy gets all the gear from, or how he finds the time, but The Tone Kings does the most thorough gear reviews / comparisons I have ever seen. This new one is just another example.

Most people don't realise how much difference a good mic makes to the record sound of a guitar rig. It's a shoot out between an SM57 and an e609, it goes for 10 minutes and is exactly the sort of stuff you wish you could do when shopping.

For the record, I like Channel 2. What about you guys?

My pleasure. You keep making them, I’ll keep sharing them. Where do you get all that gear from. I assume you work in retail?
