Gibson Les Paul LP-295 Gold Top

Gibson Les Paul 295

The company I love to hate and a hate to love are back with their latest Guitar of the Month and this one is something special. This Gibson Les Paul LP-295 Gold Top is a thing of beauty. Featuring a mahogany body (with maple top) and neck, 50’s rounded neck profile, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, Chrome Bigsby bridge, a hand painted ES-295 style pick guard, 57 Classic Plus (bridge) and 57 Classic (neck) humbucker pickups, and the standard Les Paul tone and volume controls, it is a classic styled guitar that makes me want to weep.

Unfortunately I don't have the spare $3000 to buy one, but if you do, hurry, as there is only a thousand being made.

Beautiful guitar! I’m weeping with you since the cost is too steep for my wallet. But thank god for pictures and guitar shops!

Hi Mick – absolutely true, it’s a lovely guitar but too expensive. Personally, I’m adding a B70 Bigsby to my Epiphone 56 Les Paul Gold Top – which is about as close as I’m going to get outside of remortgaging.

Hey guys. I got one of these for $2,400, no tax or shipping. So they can be had for a lil cheaper. Love this guitar.

Hello other LP 295 lovers, i recently got my hands on one of these guitars and i can tell you first hand it sounds fantastic, i play in a three piece rock and blues band mainly covers, the guitar makes all the right sounds and totaly outclasses anything else i have ever played, ;it also cost more than everything else i have ever played: i have no regrets at all about splashing out so much cash this guitar is worth every penny.

I own a les paul 295 about one year in, and it keeps on getting better, I run it through a messa boogie lone star.it is the sound i have searched for all my playing life. combined with the amp i have found that it requires no effects, it sounds to good to discribe. i cannot sing it’s praises any higher. my advice mortgauge the house and get one.you only live once so live it wiyh a 295.
