		<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yeah, you have to look long and hard to find a modern blues vocalist who can compare with may of the greats. T-Bone Walker, Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, Freddie King, Son House––these guys are in a class all their own.</p>
<p>Makes you wonder how it happened, too&#8230; today, blues as a whole is only a shadow of what it was in the early &amp; mid 20th century.</p>
<p>So much emphasis on just one part of the equation (guitar,) has left the entire genre sounding somewhat neutered. IMHO anyway.</p>
<p>By the way, the shameless plug wasn&#8217;t necessary.  <img src='http://www.guitartoybox.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
