T-Bone Walker, Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, Freddie King, Son House––these guys are in a class all their own.

Makes you wonder how it happened, too… today, blues as a whole is only a shadow of what it was in the early & mid 20th century.

So much emphasis on just one part of the equation (guitar,) has left the entire genre sounding somewhat neutered. IMHO anyway.

By the way, the shameless plug wasn’t necessary. :)
