So what the hell happened?

Well, the changes are almost complete. I'm still working on a way to add some of the affilliate advertising back in, butto be honest I don't know if i can be bothered just yet. I was getting very little click throughs and and no sales so I don't really care.

And there is the crux of the matter. You see, when I started this blog it was always going to be a personal blog. My thoughts on what I am doing in the world. Self indulgent and proud. But then I stumbled upon an ebook saying how you can use your blog to make money, and I thought why not? There were lots of guitar related products to sell and being a musician I thought what a good way to try and make some money on the side. Well so far, i have made $9 in 4 months. Not worth the effort. this site became like all the other guitar news sites that I don't like reading because there is no personality. The ironic thing is, after all the work I put into getting a Google page rank so I could get more potential sales has finally paid off, and as i write this I have a GPR of 3, and some GPR's of 2 and 1 on sub pages.

So I got bored and eventually decide to rebuild this site. It feels like mine again and I plan on keeping it that way. I'll still post quite a lot of info like I was before, cool guitar gear and videos, but I feel the need to rant, and rant I shall. I apologies to the people who would like this to stay a predominantly news site. Thats not going to happen, but I hope you hang around for the ride.
